My sister helped me get a Keurig machine the other day. The woman who sold it also gave us two boxes of KCups.
Yesterday I woke up, extremely excited, and made my morning cup of coffee. I felt off though, and wondered if it was decaffeinated. I kept thinking of asking my kids, or my sister, but of course I forgot.
This morning I noticed a horrible head ache, but figured it was just dehydration. But it got worse as I sat there, drinking my coffee. The pain was bad enough that I was hiding out in my room, after having told my boys to only summon me if there was an emergency. My sister was curious and wanted to try the coffee, so she was in the process of putting a KCup pod in the machine, when I asked her. Yep, there is decaf, which explains the massive head ache.
I guess the moral of the story is that I need to use my OCR apps more often, such as tap tap see or Seeing AI. That would have saved me a head ache for sure.
Off course, I could just stop drinking coffee altogether. I’ve tried kicking coffee before, in which I did not succeed.
To be fair, I was trying to kick coffee while making it for someone every morning so I won’t beat myself up too badly lol.
Anyway, now I am only making coffee for myself. It would be easier to stop. Accept one huge problem still remains. I don’t want to suffer with this massive head ache. This will be the only thing that really keeps me hooked on coffee. So for now, I shall keep drinking my morning coffee, and hopefully I’ve learned from this mistake.
